VIETNAMESE MARKET OPENED FOR ARGENTINE PRODUCTS OF ANIMAL AND VEGETABLE ORIGIN

June 2014. The National Health Service and Food Quality (SENASA) signed an agreement with their Vietnamese counterpart NAFIQAD that enables the export of products of plant and animal origin from Argentina to Vietnam. The document signed by officials of the Ministries of Agriculture of both countries also opens Argentina to aquatic market products of Vietnamese origin.

The agreement was signed on June 16 by Secretary Javier Rodríguez from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (MAGyP) of Argentina, and his counterpart from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) of Vietnam, Lu Ngoc Yen, during the former’s first visit to Hanoi.

NAFIQAD published on its website the Vietnamese companies that have so far been approved for export of aquatic products to Argentina as well as Argentine companies authorized to export products of plant and animal origin in Vietnam.
