October 2014. 13 movies from different Latin American countries were shown throughout the second Latin American Film Festival, held at the Cinemathèque in Hanoi from October 6-11.

On Monday 6, Argentina kicked off the Festival with the movie “Vino para robar” (He came to steal), a comedy directed by Ariel Winograd that was screened after introductory remarks by Ambassador Claudio Gutiérrez. At the end of the Film Festival on Saturday 11, Argentina screened a second movie: “Anima Buenos Aires".

The cinema eases the way for nations to spread their culture and values around the world. The audiences who attended the Film Festival had the chance to learn a fair bit on Argentina and Latin America through the movies.
