December 2014. The “Saigon Tango Festival” was held in Ho Chi Minh City from December 3-7, an event hosted by the private institution Ta.Tango, which, for 7 years, has brought together the city’s tango enthusiasts.

The Argentine Ambassador Claudio Gutiérrez attended and provided institutional support to this significant event, which also saw the participation of five professional Argentine dancers: Noelia Coletti, Pablo Giorgin, Julieta Biscione, Roberto Castillo and Martín Villafañe.

For four days, dozens of tango lovers participated in the milongas which recreated the spirit of Buenos Aires, and also took tango lessons taught under the form of workshops. During the closing ceremony, a shining Gala Night was held where the Argentine couples made an exhibition.
