April 2015. The agronomist from the University of Buenos Aires, Daniel Salamone visited Vietnam from April 13th to 22nd with the aim to implement the second phase of the cooperation project FO.AR regarding the training in technologies in cow cloning. This project started in October 2014.
The activities, which also involved the Argentine Embassy, took place at the laboratories of the recipient of the project, namely the National Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). Dr. Salamone was assisted by B. Virginia Savy, scholarship holder of CONICET.
During the working week, the Argentine experts evaluated the available equipments at the laboratories and advised their counterparts from NIAS regarding the appropriate way to use the same facilities for future cloning practice.
