May 2015. On the occasion of the 205th anniversary of the May Revolution, the Argentine Embassy held the Argentine National Day celebration at Meliá Hotel in Hanoi on the evening of May 25.

Among the guests that attended the event were the Deputy Ministry of Foreign Relations Ha Kim Ngoc, Vietnamese senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps, Argentine residents in Hanoi, Vietnamese public and friends of Argentina.

In his opening speech, the Argentine Ambassador Claudio Gutiérrez highlighted the historical similarities between Argentina and Vietnam and mentioned paramount features of the bilateral relation, including cooperation projects, trade and tourism.

Argentine wine, meat and candies from the Argentine company ARCOR were served throughout the event. In addition, a tango dance couple from Argentina entertained the guests.
