June 2015. Sergio Feingold and Cecilia Creus –two agronomists from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA)– conducted the second phase of FO.AR cooperation project 6246 “capacity building for the development of high-yield soybean” from June 8-12 in Hanoi.

The activities were carried out at the Agriculture Genetics Institute (AGI) under Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and had the support of the Argentine Embassy.

The experts also visited an experimental field in Dan Phuong, where inoculants for generating resilient soybean varieties were tested.

FO.AR project 6246 aims to increase soybean production in Vietnam through the implementation of advanced agriculture techniques.
