September 2015. Argentine Ambassador Claudio Gutiérrez participated in the celebrations held in Hanoi on September 2nd to mark the 70º anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day, where he met several Vietnamese authorities, including President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The activities took place at the historical Ba Dinh Square, where the former President Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of independence in 1945. The highlights of the celebrations included a parade of 30,000 people and military units and a speech by President Sang.
