November 2015. Viviana Pedroarias –specialist in genetically modified organisms (GMOs) of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA)– held a training in GMOs detection in Hanoi from November 16-20.
The activities took place at the GMOs detection laboratory of the Agricultural Genetics Institute (AGI) under Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). The training was carried out under the framework of FO.AR project 6246 “capacity building for the development of high-yield soybean”.
FO.AR project 6246 aims to increase soybean production in Vietnam through the implementation of advanced agriculture techniques.
