November 2015. Argentine chef Pedro Lambertini conducted a live cooking class on how to prepare Argentine dishes. The event, which was arranged by the Argentine Embassy, was held on November 24 at Hanoi’s Sheraton Hotel.

A group of over thirty people, composed of chefs from hotels and highly regarded restaurants in Hanoi, attended the class, as well as chefs from some cooking schools and the press.

During the class, chef Lambertini taught the guests to cook empanadas from Salta, a variety of this traditional Argentine dish originated in the country’s northwestern region. The chef also gave a briefing about the various cuts of the Argentine beef.

Sheraton Hotel’s chef Chung Nguyen joined the Argentine chef and taught the audience how to cook a Vietnamese dish.
