November 2015. A series of activities seeking to encourage the import of Argentine beef into Vietnam were held on November 23 at Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi. The activities were arranged by the Argentine Embassy.

Three executives of the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) and representatives of three Argentine companies took part in the event, which was also attended by a select group of twenty Vietnamese guests.

Importers and distributors of beef were among the Vietnamese guests, as well as representatives of local hotels and restaurants.

The activities consisted of an institutional introduction to IPCVA by its manager Carlos Vuegen, subsequent bilateral business meetings (B2B) between Argentine businessmen and the Vietnamese guests, and a working lunch with Argentine beef menu.

The meal was coordinated by the Argentine chef Pedro Lambertini, who travelled to Vietnam in order to participate in these activities.
