October 2015. The Argentine Embassy held a tasting of Argentine wine on October 22 at Caravalle Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was held to promote the varieties  of Argentine wine that are currently available in Vietnam among the local consumers.

The tasting gathered more than 120 guests, including representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism Department and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The event was supported by four distributors and importers. It gave attendees the chance to taste different varieties of Argentine wine, such as Malbec, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Argentine Ambassador, Claudio Gutiérrez and the Embassy's Head of Trade Section, Sofía Sánchez Acosta travelled to Ho Chi Minh City to organize and partake in the event.
