October 2014. Agronomist Daniel Salamone from Buenos Aires University (UBA) ushered in a new FO.AR cooperation project in Hanoi from October, 6-10. The Argentine Embassy supported the development of the activities, which took place at the National Institute of Animal Sciences (NIAS) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
By way of this project, training will be provided for Vietnamese experts from NIAS on technologies to clone dairy cows. NIAS authorities treasured Argentina’s collaboration on this subject, praising the nation’s significant achievements on cloning in the past decade.
The outlook for this project appears to be promising after initial contacts between the parties, where the next stages of the training will be outlined.
