May 2014. The commemoration to the 204th anniversary of the May Revolution took place this year at Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi on the evening of May 27. Argentine Ambassador, Claudio Gutiérrez delivered a speech to attendees, among whom were Vietnamese high officials, members of the local diplomatic community, Argentine residents in Hanoi and friends of Argentina at large.

In addition to the historical significance of this date, the Argentine Embassy seized this opportunity to promote the Argentine and it’s culture, emphasizing the ideas that relate the foreigners to such a distant country as Argentina.

There was tasting of local food and Argentine wine, videos on tourism, distribution of goods from ARCOR and amusements related to football and tango.
