May 2015. Silvia San Martín and Enrique Pastor from Argentina’s Human Rights Department conducted the first chapter of a new FO.AR cooperation project from May 4-8 in Hanoi, which aims to train the Vietnamese officials on strategies in communication with families of martyrs in the war.
The activities took place at the Bureau of National Devotees, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) Vietnam, the Vietnamese counterpart of this coopation project. The Argentine Ambassador Claudio Gutiérrez and the Head of Bilateral Cooperation Juan Pablo Volken also joined these activities.
This training in the field of communication, which seeks to promote that martyrs relatives supply information that helps the Vietnamese government in the identification of human remains of the soldiers who died during the war, adds to the cooperation in forensic anthropology brought by Argentina with the same objective since 2011.
