June 2016. On June 22, the Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam Claudio Gutiérrez held a meeting with Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang, who warmly bid farewell to the Argentine representative only a few days before the end of his term in Vietnam.

During the meeting, the Vietnamese President highlighted the important contributions of Ambassador Gutiérrez to the friendship and cooperation between Argentina and Vietnam.

For his part, the Argentine Ambassador praised the hard work between the Argentine Embassy and the Vietnamese authorities throughout his tenure and said he was optimistic that the bilateral relation would continue to strengthen.

President Quang also took the occasion to convey to Ambassador Gutiérrez an invitation to Argentine President Mauricio Macri to visit Vietnam.
