May 2015. The Argentine Embassy held the first 2015 tourism promotion seminar at Meliá Hotel in Hanoi on May 22. The event aimed to train local tour operators on Argentina as a tourist destination and also sought to boost partnerships between agencies from both countries in order to increase two-way flow of tourists.

Vietnamese authorities in the field of tourism attended the seminar, as well as representatives from the 10 top travel agencies in Hanoi, among others.

Thorough information on Argentina as a tourist destination was relayed to the participants, who also took the chance to watch videos and images showing Argentina's stunning sceneries and tourist infrastructure.

In addition, a tourism expert from Argentina trained the attendees on the development of a travel package focused on Argentina.
