December 2015. The Argentine Ambassador Claudio Gutiérrez and the Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son signed on December 8 at Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in International Economic Negotiations, which includes a 2016-2017 Action Plan.

The Director General of Americas Department, the Deputy Director of Multilateral Economic Affairs, the Deputy Director of International Organizations Department and the Director of MOFA’s Diplomatic Academy attended the event, in addition to the signatory parties and Embassy officers.

Delivering a speech after the signing of the agreement, both Ambassador Gutiérrez and Deputy Minister Son highlighted the progress of the bilateral relation between Argentina and Vietnam in recent years and made a broad overview of the matters linking the two countries.
