October 2014. Two Argentine experts from the renowned Argentine Team of Forensic Anthropology (EAAF) taught a seminar at Hanoi Hotel from October 6-10. Analía Simonetto and Miguel Nieva trained around 20 Vietnamese experts on the retrieval of ante-mortem data and cultural and religious issues associated with exhumations.

The Director of the Bureau of National Devotees under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), Hoang Cong Thai, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech in which he praised Argentine efforts to train Vietnamese forensic experts.

The Argentine Embassy supported the development of this seminar, which falls within the cooperation which Argentina provides to Vietnam through FO.AR concerning the identification of human remains of the war martyrs.
