October 2015. The Argentine Embassy held the third 2015 tourism promotion seminar on October 23 at Caravelle Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event aimed to train local tour operators on Argentina as a tourist destination. It also sought to boost partnerships between agencies from both countries and devise strategies to increase two-way flow of tourists.

Authorities of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism Department attended the seminar, as well as members of the Vietnam Tourism Association and representatives of 19 local travel agencies.

Thorough information on Argentina as a tourist destination was relayed to the participants, who also viewed videos and images of Argentina’s stunning sceneries and tourist infrastructure. Discussions were also held regarding the development of travel packages focusing on Argentina.
