The Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has among its main objectives the strengthening of the bilateral economic and trade relationship between both countries.

For this purpose, the Section acts in a coordinated manner with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina as well as with the Argentine private sector, with a view to promoting national exports and supporting Argentine companies throughout their processes of internationalization, market entry, expansion and consolidation within the Vietnamese market.

The Section undertakes continuous analysis and monitoring of bilateral trade flows, market trends and relevant commercial statistics in order to identify opportunities for Argentine products and services. It also provides institutional support to official trade missions and promotional activities conducted within the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Commercial Promotion

In the field of trade promotion, the Economic and Commercial Section provides assistance to Argentine businessmen operating or seeking to operate within the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Its activities include commercial matchmaking services aimed at facilitating contacts between Argentine companies and potential Vietnamese partners, distributors and importers, as well as support in the organization of business meetings and trade-related agendas.

The Section also provides market intelligence and information on sectoral developments, demand trends, commercial regulations and applicable tariffs, customs procedures and relevant domestic taxes affecting imports.

In parallel, the Section assists Vietnamese companies interested in importing from Argentina by supplying information on Argentine exporters and suppliers, facilitating contacts with Argentine companies and supporting the organization of business agendas, including reverse trade missions.

In the field of investments, the Economic and Commercial Section undertakes actions aimed at promoting productive investment in Argentina that contributes to the country’s sustainable development.

The Section serves as a point of contact for Vietnamese investors and promotes Argentina as an investment destination through the identification of concrete opportunities and the promotion of strategic sectors. It provides assistance to investors throughout the investment process by supplying key information for business development and by acting as a liaison with relevant national and subnational authorities in order to facilitate project implementation.

These activities are conducted in coordination with the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, other national ministries, provincial authorities and the private sector.
